Can the optical connections work as a pass-through? (the TV has one optical out connected to the sound bar--can it remain connected to the sound bar?)Back to product

What I did was buy an optical cable splitter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D1KHWGB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1So... 1) one optical cable exits the TV and inputs into the splitter 2) two optical cables output from the splitter (one to the soundbar and one to the headphone transmitter). Works perfectly.
