Hi Dr. Adam Corven,We regret to hear that you are having connectivity issues with the headphones. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is updated (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). You may also refer to these troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:-Set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode (using the Sony Headphones Connect app)-Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions:a. When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth deviceIn this case, put the Bluetooth device in the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.b. When there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device.c. In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.d. Where there are other wireless communication audio devices or other people nearby, such as in train station premises or on a crowded train-Delete pairing data, and then pair the unit and device again.-Reset the headset:1. Set a headset unit into the charging case. Close the lid of the charging case after setting the headset into the charging case.2. Connect the charging case to an AC outlet. Use the supplied USB Type-C cable and a commercially available USB AC adaptor.3. Open and close the lid of the charging case more than 5 times within 20 seconds. The indicator (red) of the charging case starts flashing. When the resetting is complete, the indicator (green) of the charging case flashes 4 times.4. Remove the headset unit from the charging case, set the other headset unit to the charging case, and then start the operation again from step 1.-Initialize the headset:1. Set the headset into the charging case. Leave the lid of the charging case open after setting the headset.2. Hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both the left and right units for about 10 seconds. The indicator (red) of the charging case starts flashing.3. Release your fingers within 5 seconds after the indicator starts flashing. When the initializing is complete, the indicator (green) of the charging case flashes 4 times. This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the connected device and then pair them again. If still not resolved or you need further assistance, please let us know.
